ABOUT

Leonardo Marchesi is an Architect and the founder of LMS, an Architecture studio based in Ericeira (Portugal), designing homes and hospitality schemes, active in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

 

The work of the studio is focused on the research for extraordinary spatial experiences, driven by mindful essential gestures in the landscape.

 

Recognized projects include the Lighthouse Hotel in Syracuse, House in Colares, House in Luxor, Pier House in Langkawi, House in Jumeirah, and Desert House in Saudi Arabia.

The studio has received several international awards, including 1st Place at Young Architects Competitions 2016, MAD Interior Design Awards 2022, Best Luxury Architect Visualization & Design, and finalist recognitions at the House of the Future Competition 2025 (UAE) and Prémio Secil Universidades 2014.

LMS projects have been featured in prestigious Architecture magazines such as  Casabella, ArchDaily, Afasia, Ignant, and other major architecture platforms.

 

Leonardo gives occasional lectures on Architecture, among which the prestigious ROCA Gallery Lisbon, and has exhibited the studio’s work internationally, including at Art Basel Miami in 2022.​​
